What, once again Mercedes R-Class facelift? Yes, that’s right, but now it’s the real facelift, not the slight upgraded version two years ago.
So, what’s new?
The front fascia is now more agressive and it looks like the designers were very inspired by the ML-Class – no wonder, as the two cars share the same technical platform. But no one can argue: the new image of R-Class is far more nice than the previous model.
One can also notice how big is the front grile, like it was cut-off directly from the big GL-Class. Nevertheless, for the moment it’s clear that the R-Class facelift is alone in this game, of premium crossover-van. And it also looks very american, isn’t it?
The back of the car is not changed much, only slight details of the rear lights give the car a more powerful stance. As for the interior, it’s luxurious and spacious as before, but the design has changed just a little: a new color trim, new materials, a new wheel and the latest driving technologies found on the rest of the family.
But wait for all the official details, when the car will be premiered in the New York Motorshow 2010.
